Esther MacCallum-Stewart
I am the Chair of this Worldcon, and if you’ve been in a meeting with me over the last few years, you may have seen me knitting some of the things on display at Glasgow 2024. I’ve been knitting for about 20 years now, so most of my designs are my own, with the odd large scale shawl pattern – I donate these latter creations to Fan Funds or a local charity (for this Worldcon I have chosen the Scots Equality Trust). I’ve also used yarns from our on site vendors! I’m a fan of bright colours and Scottish yarns, and the names of many of the designs in the Art Show reflect what I was doing when I made each piece. You might notice some familiar names and places!
