Giulia De Cesare
I’ve loved everything shiny since childhood and have always been drawn to beads, rocks and gems. My involvement in costuming let to a workshop on beading which taught me basic techniques, then a visit to a bead fair connected me to the beading world and I’ve been a monomaniac ever since.
My beadwork uses a wide range of techniques, from the most basic to the absolutely frustrating because the beading high comes from solving a problem in a way that lets me create something beautiful and unique. This high is so strong that I want to share it so I try to offer workshops whenever possible: there will be two at this convention, Making Beaded Leaves and Attaching Clasps to your Beads.
I am Giulia Paolina De Cesare on Facebook but don’t have my own website. People interested in finding out more about beadwork could look at the website of The Beadworkers Guild, who have published many of my patterns.
