Live Captioning and British Sign Language (BSL) in RingCentral Events (Online)
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Captioning
All Stages and Sessions (e.g. events, panels and other interactive items) will have Artificial Intelligence-generated captioning available. To switch this on for you, click the “CC” button (for “Closed Captioning”) in the bottom right of the video feed:
Live Captioning
The Hugo Awards Ceremony, Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Masquerade, and Business Meeting will have human-generated captioning available in addition to the AI-generated ones. (We recommend turning off the Artificial Intelligence captioning if you will be using the live captioning.) To switch Live Captioning on for you, click the link in the tab on the right-hand side of the screen marked “Captions”:
British Sign Language
The Hugo Awards Ceremony and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies will have a stream in British Sign Language. This will be on a separate Stage to the event itself – look at the list of stages in RingCentral Events and select the Stage marked “Events with British Sign Language Interpretation.” Watch the selected web stream as normal.
