Participating in the Programme
The expression of interest form to be on the Glasgow 2024 Programme has now closed.
Everyone who filled in the expression of interest by the deadline will receive the full programme participant survey by 7 April, 2024 at the latest. This survey asks for more information about you and lets you tell us what you hope to contribute to the programme. Those details will help us make an initial selection of programme participants. Full details will be included in the email that is sent out, but the deadline for filling out the full survey is 15 April, 2024. If you have filled in the expression of interest form but did not receive a link to a survey, please contact programme@glasgow2024.org for assistance.
Prospective programme participants will then be asked about specific programme items in which they might want to participate. They will be notified sometime in April 2024 when session selection is available.
We are no longer accepting suggestions for programme items except via the full programme participant survey.
Finally, in the months before the convention, we’ll consult you about your availability and liaise with you to make sure your proposed schedule and method of participation are right for you.
Programme Participant Selection
Even with the large volume of programming that we provide, Worldcons receive substantially more requests to participate than we can accommodate. Our policy on programme participant selection explains our approach to selecting and assigning participants to ensure our programme reflects Glasgow 2024’s overall vision of Caring, Imagination and Inclusion.
Remote/online participation
We plan to provide a range of opportunities for online participants as speakers and panellists.
